What’s stopping you?

I’ve been so overwhelmed by the business of life lately. Different things have been pulling me in so many directions, it’s gotten a little intense. So I cut a few things out in hopes that  my stress level would die down, but then it just left me thinking about the things I could be doing. The things I want to do, but can’t.

Then God whispered, "What is it that you can’t do? I gave you everyday, and I give you strength. If I put the desire in your heart, what’s stopping you?"

And then I realized that sometimes, the things you feel you cannot do are the things God is calling you to do. You can do all things through Christ who gives you strength, don’t let the devil lie to you. Don’t let him keep you from what God has for your life.

Gods plans for your life are great and most likely, it’s going to be difficult to get where He wants you to be. So why wouldn’t the devil lie to us? If it’s going to be strenuous for us to achieve what God has planned, than that’s his most opportune time to step in and say “you’re not strong enough, you can’t.”

So be brave. Be courageous. Listen to God, and live in peace.

”..For simpletons turn away from me—to death.
Fools are destroyed by their own complacency.
But all who listen to me will live in peace,
untroubled by fear of harm.” -Proverbs 1:32&33

"Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly." -Matthew 11:30
